can we do localization using stereo Pi with the help of following links ?

Yes, you can. But, afaik, this algorithm needs a lot of computation power, and might not be real-time on the Raspberry Pi. I think that Octomap approach is more acceptable for the real-time processing on RPi (this fact is mentioned here).

We have a plans to do this, but not in the nearest time, as we have a queue with upcoming projects... If Octomap guides for ROS doesn't works for you?
