Wide angle lenses

Post by Mr-Qu33f »

On your crowdsupply page, yoy show a demo of a 360 camera.
I'm assuming that they're waveshare cameras with different lenses as they're specified that they are 220 degree. The supplied waveshare cameras would only give us 320 degrees of coverage, what spec/lenses would you suggest?
I was looking at these

Good question!
1. For 360 experiment we used Waveshare M cameras
2. Lenses from G camera (160 degree) and M camera (200 degree) both has M12 compatible mount. BUT (it is important!): 200 degree camera lenses have smaller focal length, and threaded mount part is SHORTER, in comparison with 160 degree camera. It means that if you take 200 degree optic and try to mount it on 160 degree camera, you will be unable to obtain correct focused picture.
