LCD cable has 7 wires, not 8.

Post by burpshirt »

My v2 display came with a connector with 7 wires, not 8. One isn't missing, I guess it's just the wrong one. There are 8 pins on the board.

In the setup instructions, https://wiki.stereopi.com/index.php?tit ... stallation, you can see purple, white, green, orange, yellow, blue, brown, grey. Mine is missing white.

I'll probably just buy another, since it's fairly cheap. https://www.waveshare.com/product/displ ... module.htm

Hello burpshirt,
Did you get this display with the kit?
Could you please share the photos of the PCB with the connector and pins names?
You see, actually not all the wires are used while the LCD is working. For example, screen suspend mode wire.
