LCD screen on StereoPi v2

Post by Excel »

Hi 👋
I just received my StereoPi v2 (camera kit), with the LCD screen, but I can't figure how to plug the pins.
I've seen any information on the website/wiki/forum. Si, I just used a schematic from the manufacturer to know which pins corresponds to wich GPIOs.

Unfortunatly, the LCD screen don't show anything. The backlight is ON, but nothing more.

I'm looking in the "stereopi.conf" file but I see nothing related to this LCD.

If anybody knows how to setup this LCD screen, that could be really nice !

Hi Excel,
We've posted Quick Start guides for the StereoPi v2 and for the Camera Kit assembly.

If you have any questions - let us know, and we'll fix/improve our guides!

Same here.

I followed the recently-posted instructions, made sure to get the wires connected properly (ie. ignored the wire colors in the diagram), and yet all I get on the LCD is the backlight - no image.

Note that my kit setup otherwise works - plugging a display into the micro-HDMI gets gets the expected display output.

It's just that LCD.

Could mine be defective?

Could you please check you turned on the LCD support in the SLP2?
You can find this option description here in our guide. This page is accessible by Menu -> Device settings -> Display.

Heya, Realizator!

You beat me to the punch - I just logged in to post that I found that setting.

And it worked! ;-)

Thanks!
