Taki-style StereoPi assembly

I found this approach in this tweet, and decided to post it here on our forum.

Tweet text:
"Assembled (well almost) the @StereoPi that arrived early this week. I need some longer 2 mm screws, though...
Then fix it within a casing and may the stereoscopic experiments begin!
"

Second tweet text:
"Screws ordered. I also ordered some 2 mm brass spacers that seem me more durable than the nylon ones."

Here's Taki and I'm adding a few pictures after countersinking the holes and screwing the cameras together...

Whoa!!! Final assembly looks fantastic!
It's a pleasure for me to see the author of this assembly here on our forum! :-)

We were curious, will you keep using plastic screw-nuts as on your first photos from Twitter. But now we see metal screws, and calmed down. :D

By the way, what kind of camera do you use for these shots?

I used my smartphone Galaxy S10 with its tele lens.
