Hi Blinky,
In the latest release of SLP2 (0.12.4) we've updated the video decoding part in the administration panel, and now it works with most of the browsers by default.

Re: Capturing video GStremer
Uh, got you, thanx!
We've tried to use glvideomixer for bigger resolutions and color images, but the performance was poor. The idea was to find the workaround for the stereoscopic mode until the Bullseye new video subsystem fully supports it. Now we're still on Bullseye.

Re: Frame rate always around 18 FPS
Hi amphi, All video-related settings are stored in the stereopi.conf file. You see, in some cases, the combination of the specific settings can cause this issue, but we are not able to reproduce them too, so they are difficult to catch and fix. As for the HQ camera, I remember that the sensor mode i...

Re: Gstreamer Pipeline from Mac to Pi
Hi phowe, As a rule, embedded systems usually do the output streaming, and your use case is a bit unusual. Also, Python is not the best choice for video processing (especially for high resolution and simple things like barrel distortion). I guess you need the low latency too (VR display) - in this c...

Re: How to connect via WiFi
Realizator, I'm in Canada which, AFAIK, uses the same country settings as the US .... which is the StereoPi2 default isn't it? In any event, I have solved the immediate problem: On my LAN, I have two wireless access points. I tried the alternative access point and the SP2 happily connects to it. Du...

Re: How to connect via WiFi
srathinagiri, let's try to debug this step by step. 1. Please forget about rpiboot, you don't need it at all with your CM4 Lite and micro SD. Please remove both jumpers USB_CLI and RPI_BOOT and keep them in a safe place. 2. Let's test the Ethernet connection first. a) Please check that you are conne...

Re: How to connect via WiFi
Hi dnaman, Possibly you have the frequency band issue since some countries have specific requirements for the WiFi setting. You can find the country settings in your wifi router, and set the same parameters in the cosmostreamer.conf, so both StereoPi2 and your WiFi equipment works in the same freque...

Which cameras are you using? Could you also please share other settings you are using for the video recording.

Hello muri, Wow, looks like I missed your Telegram message in my tsunami of messages. Please ping me again there! Re: Load camera (V1) parameters from a JSON file
Hello Shai, At the startup, cameras are not turned on at all. You can set the parameters you need in the software you are using. Also, if you are using the stereoscopic mode, you can't set different parameters for cameras - they are automatically synchronized. But for the independent use of each cam...

Hello Shai,
Sorry, I didn't play with the projection 3D mapping approach, so I can't advise on the laser hardware to use. Maybe someone else on this forum has played with this and can provide us with insight.

Hello alpkaracay,
This repository is rather old and uses code optimized for the older version of Python. The newest code is available here: https://github.com/realizator/stereopi-fisheye-robot
Could you please try and tell me your results?

Hello Stéphane, To start with, PiCamera v1 was not developed for a few years, and RPF fixes the major bugs. PiCamera 2 is coming according to Gordon's comment here . So the only way to go for us is to find the issue and fix it ourselves. Since raspistill works fine, the issue you are faced with is t...

Re: How to connect via WiFi
Hi srathinagiri , First, you don't need the RPIBOOT and USB_CLI jumpers installed. PRIBOOT is used for eMMC-equipped CM4, and in your kit you have CM4 without emmc. USB_CLI is for the very special advanced mode, and you don't need it too. So please just remove both jumpers. Your configuration files ...

Re: How to connect via WiFi
Hi srathinagiri, If you've entered all WiFi credentials (name and a password) right, StereoPi should connect to your router. The connection was successful since you can see it as an active client on your router. Now you can access the administration panel. You can do it two ways: 1. type "stereopi.l...

Hi atrunyan, Am I got it right that you are using the fresh RaspiOS installation, but not our ready-to-use OpenCV RaspiOS image? If yes, please check the GPU memory in config.txt (gpu_mem=...) You see, Python and Picamera libraries require much more memory than the regular camera use. Set this value...

Hi joedevivo,
Since our file system is read-only by default, we keep all logs for the current session here: /tmp/cams-data.log
Please note this is the temporary path and it is erased after reboot.
