Re: image backup|restore

Re: ROS preinstalled image

Re: wifi dongle
Not all dongles work perfectly on Raspbian. The most cheapest on aliexpress https://ru.aliexpress.com/item/32819666725.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.274233edqPggDL doesnt. To start it working tons of steps should be done because of driver missing. Waste of money and time. Moreover the speed of wifi sh...

Re: StereoPi Not Booting

Ubiquity Robotics:

We have no special ROS images, and used ready-to-use images from Ubiquiti Robotics:

Re: StereoPi Not Booting
If your HDMI port seems not working (black screen through HDMI) and you want to use Raspbian with OpenCV. You have to make blind ssh install to enter the raspberry. After burn the Raspbian image, connect usb-keyboard, ethernet cable to stereopi and boot. Then press keys on usb-keyboard blind: CTRL+...

Re: StereoPi Not Booting

Re: Supported WiFi modules
Hi, Found two issues using MrEngman script first, chmod did'nt work for me, instead of this I manually give permission to execute "install-wifi" entering the file manager. so solved second, first run on execution "install-wifi" seems to work correctly, but i did'nt attached any wifi dongle at that ...

UPD>: if you're trying to use stereoscopic mode on a fresh Raspbian, you may use this solution suggested by RPi engineers:

Re: How to get SPI0 working
Hi dusinnhht, Which pins are you using for SPI0? If we'll look inside Compute Module datasheet , page 18 and 19, we can see that SPI0 can bu used either at GPIO 7-10 (ALT0), or at GPIO 35-39 (ALT0). And if we'll look inside our device tree configuration ( dt-blob.dts ), we can see that some of these...

I decided to open this thread to list all supported modules tested, and also drivers installation procedure for unsupported modules. <><>This topic will be updated a...

Re: Arducam
I can suggest it is an issue with I2C configuration. Both Arducam drivers and StereoPi's device tree (dt-blob.bin) describes it's own usage of I2C. 1st notice: StereoPi's dt-blob.bin loads by Raspbian only in the case, when Raspbian detects Compute Module while boot. That is, if you instert the same...

Re: Arducam
Hi Fshero, I looked at this module's description (by following your link). But all the docs tells me, that it uses 22 pin cable, but not 15 pin cable like Pi cameras. But on your photo I see 15 pins cable. Are you using some adapter/converter 22->15 pin? Could you please give me a link to the docs f...
