Re: StereoPi v2 NOOB: RP eMMC compute module (Non-lite) not recognized in RPiBoot mode
Hi Cytan, Please insert both jumpers RPIBOOT and USB_CLI. If you are following the official RPF guide for the eMMC upload, please remember, that installing the usbboot is not enough. You should run rpiboot.exe (Win systems) or rpiboot (Mac/Linus) for each connection of the board for this recognition...

Re: SLP2 discussion
Hi kkolehma,
SLP2 is an extremely specific and optimized image. It's very difficult to install/mix it with the regular Raspbian image (or OpenCV).

Re: wi-fi only 2Mb/s ?
Hey Zoldaten,
If you are talking about the SLP2 - it shows you the current video bitrate, but not the WiFi speed. You can change the video bitrate in settings.

Re: Re question about DIY VR headset for the StereoPi. 10 ms latency.....
Hi modaniel, I've already answered you in Telegram, but let me repeat my answer here. Getting the latency lower than 7-10ms is the real challenge. Why do you need it? This latency is comparable with the LCD screen latency (it is ~8ms at 120 FPS). Also, you need special equipment to measure it. AFAIK...

Re: Questions about live-streaming to unity
Hi blatimer, - Our Oculus Quest app is based on Unity. But we are using the hardware-specific code for the real-time stream receiving. I'm not sure it can be easilly ported to the desktop app. You can ask the author of this Unity asset , who help us with the Unity part of our application. - Usually ...

Re: CNC metal housing for HQ cameras
The baseline of the StereoPi HQ metal housing is 65mm. This is the distance between the optical axis of cameras installed (two HQ cameras in our case).
Hope this helps!

Re: Wireless network connection problems
Hello Kougelhopf, At first, we should check if USB ports are working fine. Is your system able to detect USB items connected? For example mouse or keyboard. You say Eth interface works well - it means our USB/LAN chip works fine and, theoretically, USB ports should work. As you are using Buster, it ...

Re: SLP max width/height params
Hi AlexVega,
I guess you've already got an answer on the Raspberry forum You see, CM4 has the same video encoder on VPU as CM3. It means 4K is not available. So we still have a FullHD limit for the H264, and a bigger resolution for the MJPEG (but with lower FPS).

Re: Accidentally deleted Config
Hi Harbinger,
If you are talking about the SLP v1 configuration files, they can be found in the disk image. All donloads links are collected in the wiki.stereopi.com, right bottom corner of the main page.
I'm attaching both stereopi.conf and config.txt from the /boot partition of the SLP image.

AaronD123 thank you for your link!
Actually a lot of users work with the stereo audio recordings using advanced external audio cards. I know a few projects who did this in their solutions based on the StereoPi

Re: Camera images are vertically offset (not aligned)
Hi nexfmillion, This is the physical alignment issue. If you are using V2 cameras you shoul know they have a sticky foam under the small sensor part. If you touch the sensor by finger, this foam changes its shape, and cameras are misaligned for a few minutes. After that, they are slowly going back t...

Re: Fresh Raspbian Image Start-up
RoggieC, the fresh RaspiOS have no "stereopi.conf", as it is SLP-specific file. The errors I see on your screenshot say cameras are not detected. If this setup works fine with the SLP, it means this is the software issue. Could you please confirm that you followed this step with the fresh RaspiOS in...

Hello, Our project is open-source, and published under the Apache 2.0 license (here is the link to the license in the V1 schematic GitHub repo). We'll publish V2 schematic soon under a similar license. To say briefly, you can use it, keeping copyright notes. As for the cooperation - you can write us...

Re: HQ camera video resolution
Hello natxopedreira,
HQ cameras support up to 12 Mpix, but the Raspberry Pi Compute Module has hardware limitations for the video encoder.
You can get up to 30-40 FPS for the stereoscopic FullHD for the H264 video.
With MJPEG you can get a resolution like ~2400x1200, but with lower FPS (5-10).

Re: Fresh Raspbian Image Start-up
Hi RoggieC, If SLP works fine, then hardware part is Ok. Let's check some settings. I have a few things to check on the top of my mind: 1. Please check you enabled the cameras in the fresh Raspberry OS install. This can be done over GIU, or from the terminal (sudo raspi-config). 2. The file in our W...

Re: StereoPi Slim Edition USB Issues
Which OS are you using? If it's SLP, is this v1 or v2? As the basic troubleshooting, you can try to install the fresh stock Raspbian, screen drivers, and your dongle drivers and check, if it works on the regular Pi. After that just insert this card to the StereoPi. If USB WiFi works, it means that e...
