Paolone, we have such a damage in our boards if too many efforts provided to the fixator while pulling it out.
Just a notice, you still can use this connector and fix a ribbon inside. This is a temporary solution until you replace the connector.

Re: StereoPi Not Booting
OK, that is good news. Assuming I had bootable images on both eMMC and MicroSD, how would I select between them? Just the presence of the MicroSD? Either micro SD, or eMMC. If you try to use them both, they will conflict. Thanks for the link to the instructions. I had not seen this information. We ...

Re: StereoPi Not Booting
Yes, of course. You can upload Linux image to eMMC. To say briefly, you can use either micro SD, or eMMC (like in reference RPi devboard), as they uses the same SDIO lines. You can read details here in our Wiki . One notice for you. If you'll upload our S.L.P. image to eMMC, Linux partition will tak...

Re: 3d cam with mobile phone as viewfinder and controller
Also see a line shell_exec('killall -q raspivid'); in make_photo.php As make_photo runs as user nobody this could result in errors if some other user started those processes. We didn't faced a troubles with that. Bu the way, raspivid process is auto-restarted in our scripts. It was done to automati...

Re: 3d cam with mobile phone as viewfinder and controller
For our micro SD in Starter and Deluxe kits we used this image: [deleted - look at updated Wiki links for download] Looks like I did not updated it in Wiki, I'm doing this right now. Sorry for that. We changed file manager, and also added lock/unlock filesystem links at the top of filemenager to avo...

Re: 3d cam with mobile phone as viewfinder and controller
Hi Stereomii, Thank you for detailed tests! 1. I did the same clear S.L.P. installation and installed update as you do and tested Gol's update with some fixes yesterday. 2. My fixes: "Camera" icon actually runs this script: /var/www/make_photo.php By default Gol puts there a very simple raspistill r...

Re: broken camera connector
Hi Paolone, 1. We use TE Connectivity 1-1734248-5 connector on our board. 2. If you have broken Raspberry Pi, you can use it as a donor for this connector. 3. Could you please describe, what part of the connector is broken now? If you are experienced electronics engineer, you may do soldering by you...

Re: stereopi with cm3L not working well
Hi Gen, 2 minutes looks too long... At the first boot our image try to find existing FAT32 partition, and if it does not exists, it formats all free space on micro SD to FAT32. After this formatting system reboots. But it should not take 2 minutes. Looks like I need to do a video with all first step...

Looks like you are using not "Lite" edition of CM3+, but eMMC equipped. Can you clarify this please?rlhelinski wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2019 9:58 pmMy board does not seem to be booting. I have a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+ connect (I have no other way of testing this module, but it is brand new).

Re: Dumb question...
> Were you able to successfully run your StereoPi? Nope. I etcher'd your (google drive) opencv image onto a 16GB sdcard and tried to run 1_test and get: Failed to enable connections: out of resources. Which suggests the camera(s) are being used by another process, but nothing else is running. Pleas...

Re: Using USB Cameras
vaizaragorn, our Depth Map experiment was intended for OpenCV learners. That's why we used Python and GUI mode. We plan to do one more Python-based experiment for indoor robots (obstacle avoidance, lidar-like mode). After that we'll do performance-focused solution for more serious implementations, u...

Re: Dumb question...
Thanks for the prompt reply. Was there a reason the supplied sdcard image has only 1 camera enabled out-of-the-box?? Considering this is a "StereoPi" I'm a bit surprised by this and I can't be the only one puzzled by only one camera working!! You see, our image was released before StereoPi availabl...

Re: Dumb question...
I'm prob not as familiar with Rpi as most (am fairly familiar w linux though) so this is likely a dumb question... I power up my StereoPi with the provided sdcard. Virt2Real boots up and one cam only turns on (both are plugged in). I swapped cameras to see if maybe one if broke, but still just one ...

Re: stereopi with cm3L not working well
Hi yukis, I have several suggestions for such a behaviour: 1. Please check Compute Module is inserted firmly ( Wiki details ) 2. I hope you are not powering your StereoPi with micro USB connector. Wiki cite "The MicroUSB on StereoPi is not for power as with the classic RaspberryPi", details on this ...

Re: Using USB Cameras
Before buying it I want to know if stereopi's depth map performs good in high speeds. Also I'll look for my object in 15-20 meters, can it perform well at hat distance? For the speed you'll need to optimize your code. In our OpenCV experiments we were able to achieve ~17 FPS at 320x240 using Python...
