Re: A physical button to take photos
Tom, I'm glad you've solved that after our chat!
For other mates who will read this - adding a "python " helped here, like in the previous case in this thread.

Hi Tom,
Which command line you're trying to add to the autostart script? If it is using "python script.py" or just "script.py"? For the second case you have to add execution rights to the .py file.

Re: Vertical Stripe when at 1080 resolution
Hi bensailor! RPis GPU has some specific resolution requirements, and they became more important in a stereoscopic mode and with access over Python or C code. To avoid forwarding you to the bug PiCamera documentation, let me say a one brief idea: horizontal resolution should be multiple of 32, and v...

Yes, all records are there too.
TO check the paths, you can press "Media" icon in the admin panel and look at the path, where all photos and videos are saved.

Re: Another Stereoscopic Camera Project
Hi Tom, Why do you need to write files to the Linux partition? Several reasons for not to use this: 1. Filesystem is read-only by default. It saves Linux in a case of occasional power off. 2. Space is limited, and it is not easy to increase it (as system use this default size to format all other spa...

Re: Add a Record button to SLP
Whoa, great tutorial, thank you! We did not yet add a record button because of the very simple reason: with the current software configuration, we have no real control of a recording process. I.e. we can initiate a record, but if this subprocess is broken, the system does not know it, and still show...

Hi Stereomii,
Welcome back, we missed you here!
Thank you for your catch! We'll test this approach. I also added this post to the list of improvements for the upcoming SLP update topic.

Review the "broken video" issue and test the solution from the Stereomii, mentioned here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=965
Test, if this issue still exist in a new shared-memory based recording approach.

Dear Hazemghamry and Delgoodie,
I can suggest that unsoldered HDMI leads to some short circuits and other bad results. Let me suggest a replacement for you both. I've just sent you emails to the addresses you used for the registration on this forum. Please answer

Re: Another Stereoscopic Camera Project
A-ha, you're planning to do a variable stereobase! Cool! As for the button - we have a simple Python script for this, designed for the SLP Raspbian image. If it will be a screen on the back of the case, or you will use a phone as a viewfinder? Or this is a remote setup for the birds photo hunting? U...

delgoodie, can you please do the test without any equipment attached? Just a StereoPi, CM3, micro SD and HDMI monitor?
Did you try to remove-insert CM3?

We need to localize this problem.
Can you please test the system as I described in my previous post here?
Could you please also share a photo of your setup.

Re: Ethernet port lamp not working
If one red light, near the camera connector, is blinking, it means system tries to boot. If it is blinking on your StereoPi? If not - please check Compute Module is installed correctly (like described at the beginning of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KVbzQPWRBs&feature=youtu.be) Also ...

Re: 3d pyramid hologram stream
Hi Mangus, Great project idea! :-) Synchronizing 4 cameras is not so simple. One StereoPi can record synchronized video streams from the two cameras, so you need to sync two StereoPis. Also combining them to the single video stream can be done in several ways. Mangus, what is your global aim: do a 4...

Hi Hazemghamry ,
Can you please check, if your StereoPi boots without any external equipment connected?
I.e. disconnect everything, just leave Compute Module, micro SD, power and HDMI, and try to turn it on.

Hi Tom, Thank you for your lightweight StereoPi models! I've added them to our Wiki! And yes, we are looking for...

Hi! Could you please give us some more info: 1. If StereoPi boots Ok with the provided micro SD card? 2. Which version of MotionEyeOS you are using? Could you please give us a link to the version you use? 3. Did you test this micro SD with another device (like a classic Raspberry Pi)? Usually rainbo...
