Re: StereoPI tutorials in Russian
To say briefly - yes, we plan. I think we'll keep using Habr for Russian articles.

Re: HyperPixel 4.0
I was thinking why would anyone design a non-standard powering method and to flip the standard GPIO pin configuration. My guess is that StereoPi is designed to serve its maker intended purpose whatever that may be. Joey_sfb, I understand your emotions :-) It's like using a VIM editor after Windows ...

Re: HyperPixel 4.0
Thanks for the quick update on the GPIO layout. I bought my HyperPixel 4.0 sometime back will try it as soon as I get my StereoPi setup. I made the mistake of using the micro USB to power it and was puzzled by the StereoPi behavior. Suggest to include a note for the future delivery package on using...

Re: StereoPI tutorials in Russian
Good day! Got a deluxe version today. I start to learn the possibilities of StereoPi, but there are some difficulties with the language. The entire wiki is in English, learning will be very slow. Are there any materials in Russian except habr? You see, we have a lot of users from all over the world...

Re: HyperPixel 4.0
joey_sfb, in StereoPi we kept all classic Pi GPIOs. Theoretically it should just work, if you will not do some special device tree and reconfigure GPIOs. I wish to order one HyperPixel 4.0 to do the tests, but they are out of stock now at Pimoroni. Don't you know where can we buy it? Also I plan to ...

Re: Oculus Go livestream?
Awesome! Thanks for uploading it. I've loaded that StereoPi-OculusGo app, and it worked! Very cool to see yourself in 3d :) Cool! You are the first one who repeated our Oculus experiment. Congratulations! :D Wishlist for features Lower lag I've found that UDP streams have much lower lag time than R...

Re: Basic Case too hot?
I printed and installed the stereopi hardware into the “basic case”. I left it running over an afternoon. When I returned, I noted that the case was very hot. It didn’t cause any immediate failures but I am concerned over the long term the case will cause hardware failure. The worst thing you can f...

Re: What chnges in SPL image to use CM3 4GB eMMC Flash?
Hi everyone. While my StereoPi arrives, I want to buy my RaspberryPi Compute Module, but I only find the previous model available (CM3 4GB eMMC Flash). What changes would have to be made to the SLP image to install it with so little storage in eMMC? I suspect that the obvious thing is to use the SD...

I like cardboard for prototyping too!
Do you plan to add a kind of servo to pivot your box, or it is intended for manual rotation?

JustSomeGuyTN, cool idea!
To say the true, I also looked at tiny e-ink displays for indication, as they has a lot of advantages over simple LEDs.
Cannot wait to look at photos of your device!

Re: Wide angle lenses
On your crowdsupply page, yoy show a demo of a 360 camera. I'm assuming that they're waveshare cameras with different lenses as they're specified that they are 220 degree. The supplied waveshare cameras would only give us 320 degrees of coverage, what spec/lenses would you suggest? I was looking at...

Re: Oculus Go livestream?
Oops, it's our fail. After adding our app to Google Play, I removed link to APK download from our Wiki.
Now it is fixed in Wiki, and here is a link for APK download (and installation on Oculus Go):
APK file
This is the version used in our Oculus experiment.

Re: Video Streams Not Working
I tried the HDMI port and found the same stereo pi logo. I found that the camera side of the cables were in backwards. Whooops!! After correcting the cables, the unit started rebooting on startup. I found that my laptop didn’t supply enough power to sustain the stereopi. So I tried it with an apple...

Hi Andy,
We did not included nuts and bolts, as each user has his own requirements for setup. We suggested you can choose nuts and bolts according to your setup.
