Re: Saving photos to USB drive

Here's my log file. I imagine the problem is down at the bottom with all that mmal stuff. Any ideas? console root$ cat /tmp/cams-data.log Raspberri Pi / StereoPi camera client Board model: Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 Rev 1.0 Board supported Loading camera config file... done Using MJPEG client 192...

Re: Saving photos to USB drive

Still haven't been able to figure this out. Is there any log file I can check? The only output I get is `failed` where the path to the photo should be in the UI.

Re: Saving photos to USB drive

I'm on v0.11.19 with a FAT32 USB drive.

The interesting bit is that I did set Recording > Storage to "USB drive", but when I change it to "microSD", which I'm assuming is that eMMC partition you're talking about, it still won't save the file.

Saving photos to USB drive

I'm so close. The only thing I can't do is take pictures

My compute module has eMMC storage, which is running the SLP2 image. I've got a thumb drive in the usb port, formatted to FAT32 but I can't seem to convince the StereoPi to write to it. Any suggestions?

Re: V2 HQ Housing Assembly Focus issue

Ha, then my math is definitely off. What number should I be looking at for the working distance on the two RPF lenses? I can use that to kind of figure out what's going on the Arducams. What I was able to do is put the 6mm ring on and the RPF 16mm loose enough to focus, then measured the gap with ca...

Re: V2 HQ Housing Assembly Focus issue

Thanks again. If I'm doing the math right, that means that the HQ housing assembly is providing around 9-10mm of extension on it's own, and the 8mm ring is getting us to the approximately 17.53mm that the 16mm lens wants. If that's correct, then the 8mm lens only wants 7.53mm, which means that no ma...

Re: V2 HQ Housing Assembly Focus issue

fantastic. should I pick up a 7 or 8mm ring? Would that also work for Arducam's 8mm lens?

V2 HQ Housing Assembly Focus issue

I've finally got everything working but my images are too blurry to do anything with. I'm using two HQ camera modules with two 16mm official raspberry pi telephoto lenses. I am able to get them to focus if I significantly loosen the lenses, but then they're too loose to stay where they are. Any idea...
