Re: ir filter.. protective film?
yeah the rounded edge was because I had glued them into onto the aluminum carrier plate and later pushed them out-- I had used a uv-cure glue called "blufixx" and it spread more than I thought it would with capillary action(so that made the rounded edge).. but noticed the ir filter looked like it ha...

ir filter.. protective film?
the extra ir filters look like they have some sort of protective film, but I can't get it off... was able to remove the ir filter from the HQ camera to compare, have attached some pictures-- the filter on right is out of the HQ camera the two on the left are from the stereoPiV2 CNC camera housing ki...

Re: sync camera timing precisely XVS test points on multiple rPi's
thank you so much for the reply and confirmation on the timing synchronization for the camera and how to do the config files.
I am planning to get the hardware put together this weekend the V2 is such an awesome upgrade, I appreciate the work that went into it.

sync camera timing precisely XVS test points on multiple rPi's
tldr; should I tie the cameras XVS test points together so the multiple cameras take a picture at the exact same time? What I want to do: use 3 stereo Pi's and 6 HQ cameras to take still pictures, with the same settings at exactly the same time. I am mostly interested in still photos at full resolut...

Re: Help! Naked Stereo pi with cm3+ 32G; Impossible to setup?
smerrett79 - The downside of V1+Naked+(cm w/ onboard ram) is for V1 I was stuck without any way to set it up because I did Naked (no ethernet or usb) AND CM+ (onboard memory) so no sd-card. Plus I don't really have a linux machine unless I usb-boot my windows laptop to linux. So I was in a conundrum...

Re: Help! Naked Stereo pi with cm3+ 32G; Impossible to setup?
Thanks for the reply. The bare minimum I need: 1) OpenCV working with stereopi_sync.c compiled and configured to start on boot. 2) Access to the photos After thinking about it, I don't think I really need wifi or the usb-ethernet gadget at all because booting with the jumper allows access to the pho...

Help! Naked Stereo pi with cm3+ 32G; Impossible to setup?
So I think I made two mistakes which are making my life difficult: Mistake 1: getting the naked stereopi Mistake 2: getting the 32Gig cm3+ (ie not getting the "Lite" version) My GOAL: Two stereopi's with 4 of the V2 camera's and I want them setup per the blog about synchronous 4 camera shots . I wou...
