Re: SLP2 image over-exposure - StereoPi V2

Hi davidheiserca, I can't quickly catch the potential issue there. Could you please share one of your photos and your settings? You can do this right here on the forum, or write me an email to [mynickname]@gmail.com To share your settings, you can attach the file 'stereopi.conf" from your /boot part...

Re: How Do I Watch?

Hey thismarty, I can't recommend any VR device, since this market is exploded now too fast. We try to work with the most available helmets now, i.e. Oculus series. Who knows, maybe in a year or two this market will turn into something like the Android phones market - a huge choice of devices from $5...

Re: Image Upside-down in SLP2

Hi thismarty, TFT screen is actually mirroring the HDMI screen. We are using fbcp-ili9341 library for this, and this library is extremely "unfriendly" for outside parameters. To change any settings we have to fix the source code and recompile it. When I need to rotate the screen relative to cameras,...

Re: Pink tint in overexposed areas.

Hi Alik, We had a similar thread here. I've also asked RPF guys to dig this issue, but no luck yet. All we know is this bug exists on Sony sensors stereoscopic mode (IMX219 for V2 camera and IMX477 HQ camera). I also noticed another way users are trying to use - libcamera approach . Could you please...

Re: LCD cable has 7 wires, not 8.

Hello burpshirt,
Did you get this display with the kit?
Could you please share the photos of the PCB with the connector and pins names?
You see, actually not all the wires are used while the LCD is working. For example, screen suspend mode wire.

Hi lefsky, The LCD guide instructions can be found here in our Wiki . As for the antenna - we'll add this section soon too. The antenna settings are described in the CM4 datasheet , section 2.1 To say briefly, you can set the antenna option in the config.txt To use an internal antenna add this param...

Re: StereoPi v2 NOOB: RP eMMC compute module (Non-lite) not recognized in RPiBoot mode

Hi Cytan, I'm using Mac too. You are right - for the eMMC upload you need to use the USB C cable only. Let's check two things: 1. When you connect the USB C cable without the compute module attached , two LEDs on your StereoPi v2 should light up: no-cm4-noted.jpg If you see only one LED (U-PWR near ...

Re: Wireless network connection problems

Hi Kougelhopf, Yes, WiFi drivers are The Pain. We added a few additional drivers to the SLP image (this is not an announced hidden feature), but we can't add all possible options. I'm glad you were able to use BT as a Plan B. CM3 series has no option with the onboard WiFi, but CM4 has. That's why we...

Re: StereoPi application not found SLP

Hi MarcelC, Our Android app is rather old and designed for the SLP v1. The video format is compatible, but the signalling part (handshake, network discovery etc.) has been updated. The latest app was designed for the Oculus Quest, and we'll do an Android app soon. To do the fast test you can turn on...

Re: StereoPi v2 NOOB: RP eMMC compute module (Non-lite) not recognized in RPiBoot mode

Hi Cytan, Please insert both jumpers RPIBOOT and USB_CLI. If you are following the official RPF guide for the eMMC upload, please remember, that installing the usbboot is not enough. You should run rpiboot.exe (Win systems) or rpiboot (Mac/Linus) for each connection of the board for this recognition...

Re: SLP2 discussion

Hi kkolehma,
SLP2 is an extremely specific and optimized image. It's very difficult to install/mix it with the regular Raspbian image (or OpenCV).
